My name is Renee Tomala - I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Minnesota and am currently living and adventuring the abundant prairies and prairie pothole regions of North Dakota! I was raised hunting waterfowl and deer, fishing and wandering around outdoors next to my dad. Now, as the seasons change, I adventure! I am an avid waterfowler, hunt upland game, deer, turkey and predators. I fish both open water and on ice, with a rod, spear, bow or a fly rod. I forage for wild edibles, shed hunt and wander the prairies and woods as often as I can.
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota and have a Bachelor’s of Science in Wildlife Management and Natural Resources Management. I work for Pheasants Forever as the Regional Representative for North Dakota, and am a Firearms Safety Instructor as well! I am a passionate conservation advocate, and take on as many opportunities to pass on our hunting heritage as I can!
