1 lb. ground venison
1 lb. pork sausage
2 24 oz. jars of preferred tomato sauce
1 yellow onion (diced)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
In preheated pan, add venison and sausage. Salt and pepper to taste, breaking up the meat as it cooks. When meat is about halfway finished, add onion and garlic. Cook until meat is browned and onion is translucent.
Add meat mixture to crock pot along with morels and tomato sauce. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
Note: Morels will reduce in size when cooked. I chopped the larger ones prior to adding them but left the smaller ones whole.
It can't get much easier than that!
Serve sauce over your choice of noodles, with a side salad and garlic bread.
