Dinner for under $10 and ready in under 30 minutes! What’s not to love about that?! It may not win any beauty contests but it’s delicious and the perfect weeknight meal!
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground venison
2 jars of Alfredo sauce (I used Bertolli brand)
¾ cup milk (optional)
1 bag pasta of choice
Seasonings:
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons garlic
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown 2 lbs of venison in a pan; I drizzle a little olive oil just to make sure it doesn’t stick. Season with 1 tsp paprika, 2 tbsp garlic, 1 tsp oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
In a separate pot, empty both jars of Alfredo and add ¾ cup milk; I like to cut the sauce with a little milk to make it go further and because the sauce can be kind of over bearing (but this step is totally optional). Warm the sauce over a medium flame, careful not to let it stick or scorch.
Boil your choice of pasta; I used rotini but you can use shells, fettuccini, it’s really just personal preference.
To serve, place serving of pasta on plate, add venison and spoon Alfredo sauce over top. Serve with salad and garlic bread. Enjoy!
